What is freeze-dried candy?

Freeze-dried candy is made with a special process that removes the moisture from the candy, making it lighter and crispier

How is it made?

Once the candy is in the freeze-drying machine, the temperature is lowered to below freezing. A vacuum pump is then used to remove the moisture.
